Patio Repair
Due to the freeze and thaw cycles of harsh Minnesota winters, pavers tend to heave, sink and shift. Repairs are important for three main reasons, Saftey, Functionality, and Beauty. Unlevel pavers can cause unwanted trip hazards, wobbliy furniture, and eyesores. Patio matinence is crucial for retaining your inital investment.
The patio repair process begins with me removeing any pavers that are sinking, heaving, or shifting. Next, I install new base matieral. This creates a surface that drains water effectivly, and provides a even surface to lay the paver back down. After the pavers are relaid ontop of new base, I will install paver joint sand. Finally, I will compact the effected areas with a tamper. For an additional fee I can replace any cracked or eroded pavers if they are still manufactored.

Steel Edging Instillation
The majority of Patio’s are made with plastic edging. This tends to bend and break down over time. Leaving, large paver joint gaps and sunken patio edges. The solution to this problem is to install steel edging which Joe custom fits to you existing patio.
Paver Repair

Full Lift and Relay
this is the process of removing all pavers setting them aside and tamping the gravel base. sand is then hauled in and screeded over the top and pavers are laid back down.

Stepping Stone Repair/Bluestone
blue stone is one of the difficult things to lay due to the nature of the stone . the base has to be set maticulosly around the shape of the blue stone.
Powerwashing
While Minnesota’s seasonally changing climate can be refreshing for residents, it is harsh on pavers. The salt that is put down in the winter can be detrimental to your paver and can result in ugly white stains. Springs heavy rainfall can be just as harmful, due to runoff water. Then the humidity of summer makes pavers an ideal spot for organtic growth such as alge and moss. In the fall, the leaves tend to pile up in corners of your patio causing excess moisture which is unwanted as well. The way to combat our hectic weather on your hardscape is simple, Matience cleanings. A power wash once a year can do alot in extending the life of your pavers while also providing a clean, like new apperance. I dont use any chemicals when I do my pressure washing so there will be no harm done to plants, grass, or animals.
